I really hate birth control pills. They always give me really bad migraines. I just spent the last few hours in bed. I don't even know why I am up now other than the fact that my head hurts so bad I can't sleep anymore. I seriously almost had dh take me to ER to get a shot of demoral because it was so bad earlier. I am still feeling terrible but was able to lift my head up off the bed so I guess that is better. I feel like I am going to vomit now though. I am going back to bed. If I am MIA again tomorrow that is why.

Holy Crap!

Crawl into bed, get those curtains drawn so it's nice and dark and quiet and just wait for it to go away. That's a horrible feeling!! My mom suffers with really bad migraines.

I hope it lets up very soon.

Ugh, I hate migraines. When are you off of the bcp? I hope you're feeling better!

I'm so sorry Patty!!! I hope you feel much better soon. Before I had El I had lots of migraines, luckily they have not come back.

I'm so sorry to hear about migraines. I had them weekly up until this summer when I came of BCP. I didn't know that was causing them since I hadn't changed BCP in years and the migraines started much later. I was on daily preventive meds to control them and needed to ween myself off them so that we could start TTC. I had no idea that the BCP were the CAUSE! To all you other ladies out there, if you suffer from migraines and have tried everything else to prevent and treat, get off BCP! I wish my doctors would have thought to mention that to me before prescribing me a daily med!

Sorry, got off target there. I totally get how invasive migraines can be on your life, you lose so much of your time in pain. I am hoping that this one goes away for you soon and they will stay away! How long does the dr plan on you being on BCP?
