My BBT has been going up over the last few days, but so has my normal body temp during the day. I had a cold this weekend, but I never had any fever. I checked my temp yesterday and it was 99.7, and I just checked it again and it was 99.6. Is it normal for my temp to be up so high during the day? I was under the assumption that my BBT would be higher after O, but that it would level off around 98.6 during the day. Does anyone know anything about this??? Thanks!!!!

Sorry, I don't really but I will offer a suggestion anyway. I would think that if you BBT goes up after ovulation, your normal temp would also go up a bit during this period of time. I don't know since I have never taken my temp during the day since I started charting. Sorry, I know I didn't really help you! I hope you get a clear answer!

I don't know for sure but I'm guessing that high of a temp during the day is because you are sick or it is just the times you took it. Your chart does look great!

I just found this:

For most women, 96 to 98 degrees is considered normal prior to ovulation and 97 to 99 degrees after ovulation.

So that temp during the day could be normal. Your chart looks pretty normal post O also.

Yeah. We just moved here a month ago. We use to live in Allen (20 miles south). Did you catch a glimpse of the snow this morning? Our whole neighborhood looked like a Winter Wonderland!!

Thanks! Yeah, I got a BFP yesterday, so I guess my high temps meant something after all.
