Just curious...

So if you chart and can tell when you ovulate, do you tell the doctor when you ovulated if it doesn't match up with the traditional Day 14 ovulation pregnancy wheel?

With my son, I ovulated on CD 18 the month he was conceived. I tried to tell the doctor that I knew when I ovulated, but ended up having an early US b/c they couldn't find his hb w/ the doppler and the measurements lined up with my LMP exactly, so I just let it go.... it was only a few days. Ended up delivering 4 days early, which was actually a full week early by my estimation.

So what if you O on CD25 or later or something? Just curious if doctors take that into account or not, in your experience.

I probably wouldn't say anything for the same reasons you mentioned. I don't think they pay attention to you anyway. If my o date was quite a bit off (like a week or more) I would definitely say something but for just a few days I don't think it is that important.

I will be informing my doctors of my later O date being as how I have never charted an O before day 20 ( although this cycle may prove me wrong ). If they don't believe me then I will just say that LMP was as many days later from the original date as the O date from 14.

I had an argument with the nurse a few weeks ago.

My LMP was 9/2/09 which makes my due date June 9th.... BUT I didn't O until weeks later!! my due date is actually June 28th - by O date and u/s confirmation.

The nurse was still trying to argue with me during the u/s I said to her it wasn't possible I was that far along!
