Of course since I've been feeling a little more positive now I need to not be pregnant this cycle.

I just got back from the ER where I was diagnosed with bronchitis and an ear infection. They wanted to do chest x-rays to rule out pneumonia but I'm only 7DPO so I wasn't comfortable with it but my cough has been so terrible, I also wanted to make sure it wasn't pneumonia. They did a pg test (dug, negative - what did they think they'd get on a urine sample test at 7dpo?) and I did have the x ray but now I think I'd rather not be pregnant because I would have exposed any potential baby to radiation (just two shots of my lungs but still).

Did they put a lead shield in front of you? A chest x-ray is pretty minimal radiation and while it should be avoided during pregnancy unless absolutely necessary, it's actually a lower dose of radiation than an airplane ride. (I am a Radiologic Technologist, not working since I became a mom ) I wouldn't worry too much. I worked in x-ray during my whole pregnancy. I was very careful to wear a lead apron if I had to be exposed to x-rays but I'm sure I did have some exposure and my son is perfectly fine. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't worry tooo much! I had bronchitis when I was around 7 weeks pregnant with my second son and it was not fun at all! I feel for you! I was sick for a little over a month. Hope you feel better soon!
