After I got my bfp I stopped temping a few days, but my doctor is checking by beta levels every 48 hours, so I decided that I wanted more information and I started temping again. I see that my temp seems to be dropping. Does this indicate impending miscarriage?

your temps are still way above the cover line and i think its normal to have some ups and downs, it still looks good to me, what else would make you think your gonna have a miscaraige? how are your numbers looking, they going up?
I wouldnt worry too much unless the doctor tells you something..

My number on Monday was 104 and Wednesday was only 134. I was testing again on Friday, but don't know the results yet. Numbers are going up too slow according to the doctor and he is starting to think it isn't viable and might be ectopic, but he says it is too early to see on an ultrasound.

I'm sorry you are worried about the viability of your pregnancy.

Temps can fluctuate during pregnancy just as they do during a normal charting cycle. This is the main reason we tell girls to stop temping after they've received their BFP, because it can often cause stress at a time when you want to be as stress-free as possible.

I sincerely hope your numbers start to beef up and that you receive some reassuring news very soon.

Definitely KUP...
