So!!!
I am back from my Dr's appt!
I met with the actual doctor this time, if you remember last time was with the NP. So we went over all of our test results.
She said that all of my numbers came back "STELLAR!!!" YAY!!!
Then there was the S/A. This is the one we were both nervous about, because of there was some spillage, Danny's not in "Prime Time" in the morning... it just seemed like such a fiasco!
Well, the results are in. Doc says they look for at least 20 million swimmers, right? Well, he had 38.5 million!!! She said "his motility is a hair lower than I'd prefer, but he's got 38 million sperm!!!!" So he's well within the "Acceptable" range. YAY!!!
So, basically she said after looking at everything... she doesn't see anything that makes her say "Oh, this is why..." So she said we could keep trying on our own for a few more months and then try Clomid or we could do Clomid right now.
I chose to do Clomid RIGHT NOW!!! So, she wrote me a script for 50 mg. I'm to take them CD 3 through CD 7. As soon as this cycle is over and AF shows, I'm to call and make an appt for close to the end of that cycle so that she can examine me... make sure she hasn't overstimulated my ovaries or that I haven't had any hellacious side effects or anything.
The only teensy weensy bit of a downer was that our insurance wouldn't cover the Clomid, so we had to pay out of pocket... but it was only $20, so who cares?!
So we are both OVER THE MOON happy that everything came back with such great results!!! SO SO HAPPY!!!!

It really was a great appt!! I was absolutely giddy as I was driving to the pharmacy!! Yep... I've already filled the script!! Those 5 little white pills are sitting here just waiting to be called to action!!
Now I'm kinda glad that FF decided today that I didn't O on CD 17. It changed it to CD 15, so that means I'm 8 DPO instead of 6 DPO. That being said... AF should be here in 4 days.

Yay Nikki!!!!!! So glad to hear your appointment went so well! Wow 38 million huh? LOL, was DH with you? I think is Jason heard he had 38 million sperm he would probably get all cocky and proud LOL...and probably boast to his friends! I hope the Clomid does its thing and you get oyur BFP really soon!! (Really I hope you get your BFP this cycle and never need the Clomid, but just in case...)

Jeni - Cool!! I'm hoping to have little to no side effects, so I'm glad to hear from someone who has made it through without morphing into a Psycho!! HA HA!!!
Hopeful - No, he wasn't there... but I'll bet he wishes he was! He called me right after to find out how it went and when I told him he said "WHAT?!?" He's already called me again to say how relieved he is, that he was so worried there was going to be something wrong. So yes... he's quite proud of his little brigade!! HA HA!! If he gets too cocky, I'll have to remind him who had the " STELLAR" results!! Yeah... that'd be ME!! HA HA!!!
Jewels - I'm glad to hear you had a great appt as well!!! Hopefully I'll be having YOUR kind of appts very soon!!
Fays - Thanks! I hope it does the trick!!!
