I think you are supposed to not drink any liquids and hold your urine for at least a couple of hours before doing an OPK. So that could be why the 2nd line is so faint. Also, Day 12 is still quite early.... I would keep testing but try to hold off water and hold your urine before testing.

Have you ever tried taking Robitussin or Mucinex to improve your CM? Just a thought.

HTH. I'm no expert on OPKs and haven't had any luck getting a positive either this cycle. Maybe someone else can help you more. Good luck!!

I have never had any issues with this myself. You could always try taking a few hours off from drinking water and see if it makes a difference. My guess is that you just haven't had your surge yet. I would just keep testing. I never hold my bladder and have gotten positive opks with just small little amounts of urine.
