This is my first time with OPKs. I've read a lot of information about how to read them and when to test and such, but I'm still a bit confused. I typically ovulate later than CD 16, but I've started testing on CD 10 so I can get used to what to do and such. I didn't expect to see such noticeable lines this early, so now I'm kind of questioning my judgment. I think today's test (CD 12) looks very nearly positive, and I'm experiencing some major breast tenderness-- something I don't typically get except in the 2WW. Nothing seems to be doing its normal thing, so now I'm kind of going goofy about what's happening with ovulation at the moment.
My question is -- does this look close enough to positive to expect ovulation relatively soon, i.e. amp up the BDing? Or am I not really going to know if it'll get a lot darker than the control line until after my first round of seeing my own OPKs? I would love to get it right the first time. I appreciate your help, gals!
