Hi everyone.
Please look at my chart. FF tells me to wait to test until CD 34, which will be 19 DPO but doesn't that seem a little late? This is my second cycle using FF, and on my first cycle I probably O'd on CD 20 (just going on OPKs that time since I didn't temp) and my cycle was 33 days long because of the late O.
So it appears to be going by my overall cycle length but is not taking into account that I O'd 5 days earlier this time! If I have the same LP this time I should get my AF tomorrow so why doesn't it look at LP instead of overall cycle length?
Or is there another reason?
Thanks!

Since you have only done 2 cycles so far on FF, it doesn't have much to go off of. I believe it ends up taking some kind of an average or something of your LP and w/out a lot of information it probably goes with a late date so that you don't test a million times before a bfp is even possible.

FF also gave me a test date of 19 DPO. I agree w/ Lisa -- I think it's FF's way of preventing you for stressing out over negative tests because you tested too early. Turns out I didn't need to test as AF showed up (although FF nailed that predicted date).

Good luck! I hope you get a BFP!!!!!

FF estimates that if your temps stay up over your cover line for 18 days without AF than there is a good possibility of being PG. They don't estimate that part, it's always 18 days. You can of course have a good chance of a BFP if they stay up past your usual luteal phase but there's more of a sure chance of your test turning + if you wait until after your missed period.
