How heavy can it be?

I can't say from personal experience... because I have no children yet.

I have read accounts of very scant amounts to shocks of bright red blood... so it seems like it can run the gamut.

Hopefully some girls with RL experience will chime in.

im pregnant with baby # 1 and i had implantation bleeding.

you can see on my BFP chart and it was just on and off spotting for 7 days.

same length as my normal AF would be but it started 2 days before AF would normally arrive.

here is what happened: ( warning tmi )

this is my experience with implantation bleeding.

11 dpo ( 2 days before AF due )
( all happened just when i wiped no need for a tampon or pad)

6 am started out a spot of red thought AF was coming

8 am tan spotting

10 am pink spotting

12 pm pink spotting

by 4:30 pm everything was gone

nothing that night

12 dpo ( 1 day before AF due)

afternoon had a size of my finger nail before my pinky nail. pink spot when i wiped
nothing else that day

13 dpo ( day AF due ) some this as 12 dpo took test got
evaporation line

14 dpo ( 1 day late ) size of my pinky finger nail. brown spot only once at
evening time thats it bad horrible AF cramps thought AF
was coming for sure

15 dpo ( 2 days late) woke up took a test positive BFP !!!
in 2 minutes that afternoon pea size of pink spotting only once.

16 dpo ( 3 days late) pinky nail size pink spotting once

17 dpo ( 4 days late) pinky nail size pink spotting once

18 dpo ( 5 days late) pinky nail size pink spotting once

nothing since.

is that to long for implantation i have heard it can last up to a week.

no flow and no clots that why i suspected implantation bleeding.

I had implantation bleeding with my first and third pregnancies. The first happened the day before I got my BFP ( uncharted cycle) I was also a week late for AF to arrive, and with the second it came 2 days after my BFP at 9 DPO.

Both bleedings there when I wiped. I put on a light days pad but there was nothing ever on it. And they both lasted less then a day.
