Hi Everybody!

I have a question on my temps. and was wondering if you may be able to help me out?. My temps. have been dropping since I started taking them vaginally. Here are what my temps. look like:

98.34 (12/16/09)

98.15 (12/17/09)

98.11 (12/18/09)

98.04 (12/19/09)

97.51 (12/20/09)

They were all taken exactly at 5:00am (I have my alarm set). This is what my chart looks like as of today (hope it works this time):

I did start off testing orally but since I sleep with my mouth open, I had to start testing vaginally. You can see on the bottom of my chart when I tested orally and vaginally.

Does my chart look right?

I can't see your chart. If I'm logged in to FF and I click the link it shows me my chart. If I log out the link just loads a blank page.

How am I able to share my chart?. I'm still a little new to FF

But just incase I can't share my page, it just looks like a one big drop. It just keeps going down and down. It started off in the 97's when I was temp. orally. Then when I started temp. vaginally, it went up to the 98's so there was a big jump, but since temp. vaginally, it just keeps going down and down. It is now in the 97's again (even though I am still temp. vaginally)

Is that okay? or is my chart not going well.....

In the purple menu to the left, highlight "sharing" and click "home page set up". At the top it should give you a link under the heading "Your Charting Home Page Web Address:" - that's the link you use to share with others.

Where abouts are you in your cycle?

I have noticed when looking at various charts that it wasn't uncommon for people's temps to be declining up until ovulation.

I am by far no charting expert but at this point in your cycle it really doesn't look odd to me.

From what I have read vaginal temps are slightly higher than oral temps. So I don't think the drop is from changing to vaginal temping. My guess is that you are getting closer to ovulating. A lot of times women have higher and more erratic temps when they are on AF and then just before ovulation they will drop.

Your chart looks pretty normal to me.

I had a pre-O dip last cycle (and am actually getting nervous that I haven't had one for this cycle!). I agree with everyone else -- I think your chart is fine.

Some of the sample BBT charts I've seen, some seem to be up and down and up and down and up and down....so for mine to just keep going down had me a little concerned that I wasn't doing something right.

I agree with Patty. I normally have erratic temps during AF and then I steadily drop until I O. I think you're fine.

you look totally normal to me. if you check out the chart gallery, you will notice most charts have erratic temps during AF. Then they even out right before O.
