This might not be the right place to post this, but You ladies are basically fertility geniuses so it's worth a shot!

I have PCOS, I am EBF'ing, and I am on CD 29 (which based on my first PP cycle which was 43 days, I should O around this time).....Anyway, I have been using FRER OPK's for the last 14 days...the first 11 were basically stark white (you could see the 2nd line if you looked REALLY closely, but basically stark white).....the day before yesterday and yesterday there was a pretty obviously 2nd line, but it never got as dark as the control line (I have been using them twice a day)...this morning there was still an obvious 2nd line, but this afternoon stark white again.

So my question is this, could my body have been TRYING to ovulate, but never quite got there and that's why the lines were like this? Or could I have possibly ovulated with even though the 2nd line never matched the control? I doubt I'll conceive, I didn't have much for CM...but I'm trying to figure out if I even am ovulating you know?

Any hints would be GREAT! (also, due to bebe waking at night, I am currently not temping which I know sucks, I miss temping!!)

Either scenario could be correct. I don't have PCOS, but I do know that with that you can get a positive and not ovulate. My understanding it that your body gears up to O, but doesn't quite make it. I just saw that you are not temping, that would tell you what is really going on but I'm guessing you may be up a bit at night.

I don't know much about PCOS, but I would keep doing the OPKs. This cycle I had a line close to the control line, then one that was much lighter, etc., then eventually a very clear positive.
Also, your 1st post-partum cycle might not be a good indicater of how long your future cycles will be/ when you will ovulate in future cycles. I'm on my first PP cycle, and everyone has been telling me it can take your body a while to get back to normal.
