Hey girls. I'm really wondering about what's going on with me in my cycle at the moment.

I had a temp drop around CD 12, and if I ovulated on that day, that means that today I'd be around 19 DPO but the thing is, I haven't encountered my period yet. It's CD 31 already and I'm worried about what happened to me.

I haven't BD-ed but I have been stressed in the past few weeks. I know stress can stop a period from happening but does it stop it because Ovulation does not occur or can it stop a period from happening even if that cycle has already encountered ovulation? I'm just curious. Thanks.

Usually if stress makes a period late, it delays ovulation and therefore the cycle is longer. I would test if you have BD at all in the days leading up to CD 12...which does look like your O day. Good luck!

Thanks for replying. I haven't BD-ed this cycle at all and the stress only occured after my supposed O date. Which is what's making me confused about it.

Stress can delay ovulation and that's what delays menstruation. If there was any genital contact at all (even without penetration) from CD5-15, pregnancy is possible. If seminal fluid comes in contact with your CM outside your body, it can still travel inside and cause conception. This is called "contact pregnancy."

If there has been absolutely no contact during that time, a cyst can cause a long luteal phase like this as well. With a cyst the LP shouldn't last longer than 21 days.

Did you alter the time you take your temperatures or switch thermometers around the alleged ovulation date?

No, it's quite the same as always. I haven't BD-ed or had any sexual contact whatsoever this cycle.

Have you noticed feeling wet or slippery since FF's ovulation date? If so, I would definitely second guess the ovulation date. If it's a cyst, you should get AF by CD21. If you don't, then the only other conclusion is that the ovulation date is wrong.

I was wondering if anyone ever had this happen. I am 12DPO and had a temp drop today. I had AI on 12/9 and 12/11. I have had a headache for three days, my boobs are sore and swollen. Could I be pregnant with a temp dip?
