I am waiting on my new BBT to arrive any day now (I am one of those lucky girls who's puppy ate my BBT earlier this week), so I can not start charting until a few days into my cycle. Will FF still give me cross-hairs even if I do not start temping from CD1?

Yep. A lot of people don't temp during AF. I think FF needs 6 temps before O, but I'm not sure on that.

you'll get your crosshairs at 3DPO honey, temping while af is visiting is optional. I personally do it to keep habit of it.
