So this is the first month since July that DH and I haven't traveled out of state during the exact time that I was ovulating (great timing, huh?), and I'm having all of these wonderful O signs that we can actually do something about since we're home and have no plans!

Yesterday, I had a negative OPK but right-sided abdominal pain plus blood-tinged EWCM. This afternoon, I got a crazy-dark positive OPK. I told DH that we need to BD as much as humanly possible, and we got busy right away. LOL

Wish me luck! Also, I did some searching through the fertility charting forum about blood-tinged EWCM because I thought that it might have been a bad thing or caused by BDing. I found that it means the CM is very fertile and it's because the estrogen is picking up, but I just don't understand where the blood is coming from. Anybody know?

Also, has anyone taken prometrium in the past? I've got a prescription for that this cycle. The nurse told me to start taking it when I get a positive OPK, but I'm wondering if I should start it when it's clear that I've O'd.

Blood in EWCM is sometimes Ovulation Spotting. Blood is sometimes present when the egg bursts through to be fertilized. So that could be a fantastic sign that you've got a nice plump eggie waiting for a hot date with a sperm!!

I have never taken Prometrium, so I don't have any answers on that. Maybe some of the girls over on TTC w/ MA would have some answers.

I've searched through the forums re: prometrium, and it seems the consensus is that you should start taking it after you are certain you have ovulated.
