So based on my chart, does anyone think that we should continue to BD? We've DTD four times over the last four days, including today. I had positive OPKs on Saturday and Sunday. Today's OPK was negative, but I haven't had a thermal shift yet. I hope DH is up to BD'ing some more tomorrow and possibly the day after just to cover our bases. I am expecting my temp to go up tomorrow, so if it does, have we already passed my most fertile period?

Holy macaroni! That's one heck of a temp spike!!!

You posted a response to my thread earlier today -- I'm in the same boat (except I haven't spiked like you yet). I got my +OPK on CD 18 and so we BD'd on CD 18, 19, and 20 (today). I thought about not doing anything tonight, but we decided to do it one last time (which is what I think you recommended!).

See what your temp is tomorrow. If it's elevated again, I'd say you're probably safe to stop. Or you could just plan on one more round just to cover your bases.

Good luck! I hope you caught your egg!

Thanks, Amy. I just flipped through the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility, and it said that when your temperature shifts, it's most likely too late to fertilize the egg, but the author recommends BDing just in case it's still there. She wrote that you should BD the morning of the temp shift since it's probably not too long at that point since ovulation occurred. She also wrote that if you continue to have EWCM, keep BDing regardless of what your temp is doing.

Good luck to you, too! Hopefully this will turn out to be our cycle for a BFP.

Yes, once you see the temperature shift on your chart it is too late by then to BD and catch the eggie. However, I wouldn't count yourself as having O'd yet. The reason I say this because that temp drop is marked as sleep deprived and that "spike" was back up to your previous temperatures. If your temp is up tomorrow (and the days following) FF will likely call today, CD18, as your O day. But since you don't know what's going to happen, keep up with the BD'ing if yall can! Good luck!

i would continue to BD... your temp has not risen that much above your pre o temps, which makes me think you have not quite Od yet.

Well, to my surprise, my temp did not go up this morning, so it looks like O still has not happened. I did have really poor sleep, though, and was unable to temp after having three consecutive hours of sleep. I'm not sure what affect that has on your temp (whether it raises it or not).

Because I thought we were going to O,we managed to BD twice yesterday when I also had a fair amount of EWCM. We are both kind of spent so BDing today might not be in the cards. We'll see. Thanks again for all of your help!

I hope, if you guys are that worn out, that you've gotten enough in that your bases will be covered.

I think your timing sounds pretty darn good!
