Do you ladies take a break when AF is here from temping or just temp all the time?
If i wait till AF is over will it mess my chart up?

I usually start on CD 1 (b/c it has become habit!) but so far this month I've been slacking or sleeping in too late since I wasn't working last week. I've heard of a lot of ladies who skip temping during AF. I don't think it will mess up your chart at all!

IMO, I don't think so. It may not show a perfect cycle from start to finish but if yours is not too complicated, I don't think it will matter too much. I does get trying sometimes. During AF and before Oing I sometimes skip days. It can be frustrating though when things don't flow right on your chart.

I don't temp during AF and for a few days afterward, but I tried to temp the whole cycle when I first started charting. Now, I kind of have an idea of when I will O, so I don't feel the need to temp during AF.

I do not temp during AF, because I temp vaginally. Also, my temps tend to be erratic during AF. Skipping these days makes my chart clearer.

i tend not to temp during AF because i temp vaginally also. I did on one cycle because i needed a clear picture of how my temps are throughout the whole cycle.
I dont think it would mess with your chart too much, unless you have a very short cycle and need all the temps you can get for a clear picture. IMO i would temp the whole cycle for a few cycles and then stop temping through AF.
Goodluck.

I temp each and every day of the month. It's total habit now, and to tell you the truth... if I miss a day, I actually feel a bit off kilter.

As the other girls who don't temp during AF have already said, if you skip temping during those initial few days, it really won't make that much of a difference because temps during menses are usually pretty erratic and don't mean much anyway.

Usually between CD 5 and 7 (I tend to O around CD15-19), not during AF.

I do not temp when AF is here. Those temps make no difference to my chart whatsoever, except to make it even more haywire than it normally is. I also like having a break for a few days because I tend to still stress out a bit when it comes to temping.

So this month (starting today in fact), I'm temping vaginally. This way I don't have to worry if I've had sinus issues and have been sleeping with my mouth open...or have to worry about talking to DH first thing in the morning because I have to take my temperature first. I think vaginal temping is going to be a lot less stressful and a lot more accurate. But, who wants to temp vaginally when AF is here, KWIM?
