So, I haven't been super careful about temping/charting this month so far. I know that some of my temps might be a little out of whack.

I told myself I would start using OPKs on Sunday, but then I forgot...well, kind of. Once I realized that I forgot, I squeezed out enough to dip the OPK within a couple minutes. It was negative (as expected on CD 11 for me).

Then I took another OPK yesterday and I was shocked to see that the test line is actually getting lighter, and not darker like usual as I am approaching ovulation...hmmm...

Here are the pics:

So I am wondering if any of you think I have already O'd or if there is some other explanation for a lighter test on CD 12?

Ugh! I will be much more attentive next cycle...unless of course I get a BFP in a couple weeks!

I started testing at CD 8, there was a definite line but still negative until CD 11 then they went to almost no visible line at all. Yesterday I could see a bit of a line then today at definite dark line very close to +. My point is give it a few days and just maybe you will go dark again. I thought maybe it meant I was not going to O this month, because I had a pretty big temp drop a few days ago but kept getting bfn on the OPK. Today my temp went up again and I got a dark line. My guess is that I will O tomorrow on CD16, which is the same as last cycle.

The same thing has happened to me. That is actually how I found out that I ovulate later than most people, round day 17-18. Keep testing and I bet you'll get a darker line soon!

I was going to say the same thing. I have had similar things happen to me. I have even had a positive test with certain brands thought I was going to ovulate but then later had another positive test. I would just keep using your opks and see what happens.

Thanks ladies! That makes me feel much better. Especially since the OPK I took this afternoon was even more negative than yesterday's. Anyway, I'm finally getting good amounts of EWCM, so I'll just keep peeing and see what happens. Either way I think it's safe to BD often at this point!

Thanks again!

I agree with everything everyone else has already said. It's happened to me too and made me go

I don't think CD 11 was a +... but I'm sure you'll get one before too long.
