I woke up after a solid sleep at 3:22 this morning, and since I usually get up at 4:55, I figured I'd take my temp and go back to sleep. The 3:22 temp was 97.86. I tried to go back to sleep -- got up and went to the bathroom -- dozed for a little while and then the alarm went off at 4:55. I thought "what the heck" and took my temp again -- I wanted to see the change in temp. The 4:55 temp was 98.17 -- quite impressive for me, but horrible inaccurate as it didn't reflect three hours sleep and I had gotten out of bed once.

I logged the 3:22 temp in my chart (97.86). For fun ('cuz playing with your temps is always fun at 5 in the morning!!), I entered the 3:22 temp into the temp corrector. The temp corrector put it at 98.17.

So, a recap:
The adjusted 3:22 temp is 98.17.
The unofficial 4:55 temp is 98.17.

Again, I only recorded the actual 3:22 time in my chart -- I've been burned by adjusted temps before. But what do you make of this??? I don't know why, but I'm really curious!!

Oooooh! Interesting!!

It really depends on the person. Some people like to adjust... others don't.

I've had adjusted temps come up right on like that and I've had them come up way, way off.

I've also found sometimes activity seems to affect my temp quite a bit and other times .. not really at all.

So .. it's hard to really say much about it .. personally I would have recorded the adjusted/(non rested but on time) temp just because both were the same.

Wait a second -- do you think I should log the adjusted temp? If I do, I'm going to get a major spike (which will make me incredibly happy -- but I thought FF said not to do that -- darn my obsessive need to follow the rules!!!!). I just thought it was interesting that the adjusted early time was the same as the not-rested later time. What's a girl to do??

Considering this mornings temp .. yesterday's unrested and/or adjusted temp doesn't seem like it would have been out of place - you got your spike anyway.

Girls, I totally wasn't expecting that temp spike this morning!! I have a tiny little sore throat, but I took my temp a bunch of times this morning and I don't have a fever. Recumbent's right -- now yesterday's unrested but properly timed temp seems right!

I have to admit -- I'm super nervous to take a test. What if it comes out negative? Much like my temps, my hopes are going up and up. I didn't take one this morning (because I wondered if I had a fever). I wasn't going to test until Sunday......but if my temp is high again tomorrow, I'll POAS. I'll keep you posted!!!
