I know, I know, it's only my 2nd post-partum cycle.
But I'm on CD18 with a negative OPK and no clear signs of impending ovulation. Pre-baby, I O'd on CD18, (at least the 2 cycles that I charted) and I thought that was plenty late at the time! My first post-partum cycle I O'd on CD27 but I was really hoping that this cycle would be a little more normal. It's soooooo frustrating having to wait 6 weeks in between each ovulation... I know the "calender" method is not accurate but it's nice to at least know the normal range in which you usually ovulate instead of being completely in the dark about when it is supposed to happen.

For BTDT moms, how long did it take your cycle to get back to normal after AF arrived? I know everyone is different, but I'm just wondering.

Sorry. Vent over.

Well, I will give my 2 cents, but I don't think that I'm much help. Before DD, I normally O'd anywhere from CD19-24 but the cycle I got pg I O'd on CD30. Now that I've had her, I'm kind of close to where I was, but I vary. My first cycle I O'd on CD21 and I've gone down to CD18 but have been as high as CD25. I know it can be very frustrating. I currently am on CD34, so the cycles can become very long and drawn out. Stick to it and I'm sure your body will regulate itself, or your body may just ovulate late. I hope that everything works out and that you get your BFP very soon!!

Mine went back to normal within a few months, but I don't necessarily think that's normal. I got AF back after 6 weeks (despite b/fing). Are you still b/fing? That may be what's causing you to be a little off track. I hope it gets back to normal soon!

With DD I got my period back at 5 weeks pp and had one weird cycle, one late O cycle, and then normal.
With DS I Oed about 7 weeks pp and got AF 4 (yes 4) days later. I'm still on that cycle, CD 12, waiting to O.
