to the Wonderful World of Charting!!

I'm Nikki, the host of this board.
Lisa said it right... until you get that "Ohhhkay... AF is definitely HERE" bleeding, that's still spotting and not CD 1.
If you haven't done so already, I'd recommend you set yourself up a Fertility Friend account. I think it's FAB... especially when you're just starting out, because all you have to do is enter your temps, cervical fluid and cervical position, if you are charting those items, which I HIGHLY recommend.
If you haven't yet... you'll need to pick up a BBT. A regular fever thermometer won't cut it... it's not sensitive enough and you'll need to see all the variations because those tiny variations can tell you a lot!
But you enter that stuff in FF, and it does the rest for you. It will draw your cover line and chart everything all out for you. I LOVE it!!!
It can seem a bit... intimidating at first, but you'll get the hang of it... and we'll all be here to answer all of your questions no matter how small or TMI! You'd be surprised how much it takes to make TTC women blush!!
If you're a bookworm, I'd recommend looking for a copy of Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It's my TTC Bible... I can't tell you how helpful it was when I first started charting or many times I've turned to it to answer a question or remind myself of something I'd forgotten. It's quite the popular title, so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding it.
The forum is full of fantastic girls who are the
BEST at answering questions and analyzing charts, being cheerleaders and soft places to land...
I wish you luck in your TTC journey and hope you'll join us!
