Sorry if this is TMI.. On Saturday I had lots of CM that felt wet and was slippery when I wiped, but upon further TP examination it was clear, stretchy, but kinda sticky. I don't really feel like it falls into the sticky category b/c of the sensation, but it wasn't really watery or eggwhite. How I chart it affects whether or not I have crosshairs or not ( I am 99.9% sure I haven't ovulated yet.), so I'm trying to figure out what to chart it as. I do remember having similar CM last month a few days before ovulation...I think I charted it as sticky, but like I said I'm not sure that was accurate.

A good rule of thumb to remember is that when it comes to CM, how it feels is MUCH more important than how it looks. Some get crystal clear super stretchy EWCM others get something that is possibly a bit white and more slippery than stretchy, and everything in between.

It is possible that you happened to be checking your CM as it's transitioning.

But generally, if it feels slippery between my fingers... I log it as EWCM.

i agree. my fertile CM it not eggwhiteish. Its wet, slippery, watery but doesnt stretch at all... I say if it felt wet/slippery i would mark it is EWCM
