11th Cycle ~ 2nd Clomid Round OPKs

The Peeing has begun!!!

I did my first OPK today. I was supposed to do it last night, but an unexpected road trip cropped up and by the time we got home, the "prime" hours for OPKing had passed.

So here we go...

CD 11

The moment the liquid started spreading in the test area I saw a faint line, which made me happy it wasn't STARK white.

I've been horrible about staying up to date on here... but it's been a kinda crazy few days.

First things first... yesterday's OPK

So, we went to the Flyers game last night and wound up missing the last train back to Delaware. We had to take a cab to my parents house and borrow my dad's car, which I returned today.

I meant to take an OPK with me and I walked out and forgot it. We got home at around 7 tonight and the first thing I did was POAS! I was kinda like WTH when I saw it.

Here's the line up:

Last time I checked there wasn't much going on in the CM area. I did notice some pains around my right side while at my parents. My dad decided to clean out their basement today and I wound up going through boxes and boxes of stuff with my mom. There were a few times I distinctly remember leaning over to take something out of a box and feeling that O pain sensation on my right side.

That's slightly exciting because I NEVER feel anything on that side. But that OPK is making me wonder now. Hopefully something happens tomorrow... high temp, Super Dark OPK... something!

Why is that last OPK lighter than the previous?! That's not supposed to be happening. Nikki, I'm going to fuss as your OPK's for a minute...

Ok Nikki's OPK's, yall are supposed to be getting DARKER right now. NOT lighter!!! Grrr!! Now get into gear and give this girl a clear positive so she can BD her brains out and catch that eggie! You hear me??

Ok, now that they know I mean business, maybe they'll straighten up and act right.

I have to admit that the previous 2 OPKs were done at 1 in the afternoon. This last one was done at 7 in the evening... so that probably has something to do with it.

I guess I was hoping since I was still within those "prime" hours for OPKing, that it would be darker, kwim?

I just peed and now I've got the ewcm "feeling"... there's not much cm there, but what's there is very EW. Still feeling stuff on the right. I'm trying not to get too excited here... but if my right ovary is doing something... that's just... brand new and exciting!

And maybe your right ovary will be the magic ovary! I think it's odd though, because I believe that I O from my left side most of the time (if not all of the time), too. Hmm...maybe when I start Clomid I'll O from my right side too?? (Praying for a BFP before then though!) GL! Here's some "right ovary egg

Okay... I'm feeling like a schizophrenic right now... because part of me is over the moon and part of me is perplexed.

I peed in my cup, dipped my stick and decided to check CM & CP while I was waiting.

Can I just say that I have never felt this physically fertile.... like ever! My cervix is undeniably HSO! My CM is undeniably EW! It made me giggle. I know... I'm stupid.

Anyway... on to the stick.

WTH! Right? It's the right time of day... I hadn't peed since 7 this morning! My microscope has been ferning like mad for 3 days, my CM & CP are there... what's up OPK?!?!

I'm starting to wonder if CD 12 is as dark as I'm gonna get at this point.

Weird that it's getting lighter?! I dunno though...this last cycle I never had a clear positive and I even used OPKs more than once a day a few times. I hope the physical signs are a good signs though!! I can't wait to see what your temps look like in the next few days!

My OPKs were really weird on clomid. Normally they would get darker each day but on clomid they were totally white then bam, major positive. I'm sure you'll be getting that positive very soon.

So... here's today's OPK

Pooey! I'm really no longer expecting a dark OPK now. Everything else is pointing to me O'ing today, the OPK's just won't get on board. Ugh!

Here's the current line up:

I'm seriously starting to wonder if CD 12 is as dark as I'm gonna get... because that was 48 hours ago and I honestly think I'm O'ing today.

Nikki, did you do anything differently this cycle? New med (even a vitamin), new exercise routine, higher stress? Have you been drinking more fluids? Are the tests expired or close to expired? I'm playing investigator now because I'm curious to know why you didn't get a positive OPK. How's your cervix?

@ Michelle!

First... I took another OPK at 6pm

Comparing it to the test from 12pm, it looks lighter to me... especially IRL.

To answer your questions...

I haven't really changed anything. I'm taking the same prenatals, same B vitamin.

As for the OPKs, they're actually brand new. We just got them at the beginning of this cycle and they don't expire until 2011.

EVERY other sign points to me Oing today. My huge temp drop, my cervix is HSO, not a lot of CM but what's there is slippery, my microscope is still showing clear ferns and my right ovary has been blowing up today!!!

I'm really leaning toward trusting my body and saying screw the sticks! We did BD today with Preseed... so bases are covered there! Tomorrow's temp will tell the tale.
