These past two months have been killer. Husband had to quit his job of 6 years, deaths in the family, DD has been sick, and now my dad is in the hospital with a clot in his lungs. I stopped temping weeks ago, but still marked when we got a chance to BD. My cycle is starting to get on the long side. It's normally about 38 days. Had a short cycle last month, but that one was pretty strange. Last cycle this long was my first cycle I wasn't breastfeeding. Hormones were trying to even out I assume. Is it safe to test now do you think? In a few days?

Well, I woke up nauseated, and I had some cramping today so I took a test, but it said negative. I need to start temping again. I might not even be post-O. =) I'll probably test again in a couple weeks.

I gotta take that last post back! lol I shut off my computer and didn't have time to repost, but I checked the test again, and I could see a very faint second line! So a maybe BFP. I'm going to retest in a few days. =)

how long since testing did you read it again. sometimes you get an evap line if its been too long

Less than 10 minutes. I tested and immediately posted. =) It was slightly pink, but very faint. I'm going to wait several days because I've had three early miscarriages. I'll just have to see if this one sticks. I want to get my hopes up, but am trying not to. I'm going to go ahead and enjoy this time though while it lasts, and hopefully it'll last till on or around September 24th.

Edit: wanted to add that I've used this test several times (dollar test), and the negative tests I've had were pure as the driven snow when taken, ten minutes after, hours after, and days after. The only positive I had before this was about as dark as the control, but I was close to 9 weeks along. I'd post a pic, but I had too much fun taking it apart earlier. Decided to take the strip apart out of curiosity, and I dinged it with my fingernails.

Ooooh! I hope this is it! Don't be afraid to test again today. If you are using dollar tests they are only a dollar. Adding some pee sticky pressure... sorry I just want to see a bfp on the board.

I'll test Thursday. Just so many of the "signs" could be other things. I'm really skeptical by now. I just wish that line was darker. It looked exactly the same as some other photos of the same test, but at the same time last faint positive I had ended with me waking up to AF the next day. =P

I am hopeful because for hours yesterday I had unexplained cramping, and it would get worse when I walked around a lot. Woke up very nauseated, dead tired most of the day. 8 hours of sleep wasn't enough last night either. I'm tired again. I'm crossing my fingers. I might retest tomorrow morning if I can round up a dollar in change.

Well, Patty, got another test, and it was negative. I even TRIED to get an evap line after I read the results. In full sun there isn't even a shadow of a strip underneath. No amount of squinting or turning it this way or that yields lines. =P

I have a backache all the way from my shoulders to my butt today, suspiciously similar to the backache I had right before my last chemical. Got a feeling I'm not getting a baby on or around September 24th. =P
