EWCM v. other "O" stuff - x-posted

Ok ladies this question is not for the squeemish types so I'm warning you in advance that it's TMI..

I've been praying for EWCM as I haven't seen any since I started checking in the last few months. This cycle I've been taking evening primrose oil and drinking more water.

Anyhow, we BDd tonight.. and I had my other "O" without him penetrating... I checked down there right afterwards when he wasn't looking and it looked like EWCM, stretched a whole 3 inches without breaking.. so was that EWCM or other stuff? By the way it was all my own stuff since as I mentioned he didn't penetrate me? ps he got his afterwards so we really BDd, not just played around.

I am not an expert but I think you are NOT supposed to check CM if you are sexually aroused, or else the two can be confused. That's just my 2 cents!

Hmm this is a tough one since the stuff you felt could have been from your other O. I know for me, even at the dry times of the month, I'm a very wet girl when arroused. Did you check today? Could always do the sperm and water test if needed?

Yeah... unfortunately that is not EWCM. It looks like the most perfect example of what EWCM is supposed to look like, and when I first started charting the exact same thing happened to me. I was totally like

but then found out that wasn't it.

That being said, there have been studies that have suggested that if a woman achieves orgasm before he does that it can increase the odds of pregnancy. This could be partially because that arousal fluid is similar to EWCM & semenal fluid and it may assist in the transport of sperm.

It's an interesting thought.

But, no... if you've got true EWCM it will be present during a state of non arousal.

Thanks ladies for your input.
I really thought it was EWCM and maybe the O helped to push it down because I heard for some women it just stays in the cervix and doesn't come out.. now I don't know but from your responses it sounds like it wasn't EWCM. The thing that made me think it was is that it stretched. Anyhoooooo I have checked today and it was only watery, no EWCM

Oh well maybe next time...
