Or know what causes it? Just more of my body weirdness...bear with me.

Honestly, I never noticed this until I was married/sexually active/trying to conceive. Several months before getting pregnant with my son, I would notice that several days before AF was due, I would start getting cramps in my inner thighs and down my left leg...sometimes all the way down my leg to my foot.

The cycle I got pregnant with my son I'm pretty sure I didn't have this (just crapmping in my inner thighs, but not down my leg.) Since I got my post partum period and have been cycling again, I've been having this again..last month starting at 5DPO and this month starting at 3DPO.

I always take this as a sign of AF coming/not being pregnant, but honestly...how can my body even know at 3DPO that my eggo didn't get fertilized? I mean, I doubt I'm pregnant but it's just annoying to have my hopes dashed already at 3DPO. Can't my silly body let me have hope for a little while...say 10 days?
Sometimes I wonder if it's a sign of low progesterone. Ha, who knows...just wanted to throw this out there and see if anyone else ever experiences this?

I'm sorry hon... I've never experienced anything like that before, so I don't have any experience or anything to offer.

The fact that it has happened so early into the TWW makes me inclined to think it's NOT a pre-AF symptom. I really doubt your body would be reacting that quickly, kwim? Perhaps it's something completely unrelated that has just happened to coincide with the TWW.

It's a head scratcher... that's for sure!

Ya know, I just googled my symptoms and they coincide with "sciatic endometriosis", which is caused by endometrial tissue pressing on the sciatic nerve, which causes pain in the hips/thighs/buttocks/legs/feet during the days after ovualtion/before AF. Interesting...I think you may be right, Nikki. It might be just something that I experience during the TWW. I did mention my symptoms to my doctor before and she didn't make a big deal out of them. Well, I got pregnant before with similar symptoms, so hopefully it won't interfere too much with my chances this time around.

Hmmm...I've never heard about that before! I know that you mentioned you talked to your OB....but I would mention it again at your next appointment. Sometimes it takes a few times before they actually listen, ya know?

I usually get the bad leg cramps the day before AF comes, but usually limited to my thighs. I would def mention it to the doctor the next time you're in.

Right on... You certainly could mention it to your doc again if it's bothering you enough to cause serious concern, but I certainly don't think it means you're out!
