These are the facts:
1. I usually O on day 17-18
2. I got a nice progression of OPK's and a nice dark positive on day 16.
3. I have only gotten negatives (almost not even there!!!) since the positive!! This never happens, I always get a fade out.
4. No drop in temp??

The not dropping of temp is what is so confusing to me! What is going on? I have tender bb's starting when I got the positive OPK which is also the norm for me. Everything is normal except my temp has not dropped at ALL!! Does this mean I didn't O or I haven't yet? I am very normal with my cycle at 30 days and my LP at 12 days.

I have b/w done and it came back normal for Oing.

Any ideas? I will post pictures of my OPK progression when I get home, I didn't have time this morning to do it!

Please help me!!!

After Oing should shoud get a temp rise, not a fall. My temp is really slow to rise. Maybe in a few days your temp will have rised and you will get crosshairs on one of the past couple days?

Every cycle is unique. Past cycles do not determine what will happen in future cycles. It's perfectly normal to experience cycle variation, which is why it's very important not to get too hung up on what you think should be happening. Past O days don't determine future O days. Past OPK patterns don't determine future OPK patterns. Past temp patterns don't determine future temp patterns. Each cycle is unique.

Hang in there. Your body may have attempted ovulation and decided not to go through with it just now. It might try again later.

There are a couple of possibilities here...

1. You haven't actually O'd yet or are possibly O'ing today. A + OPK can indicate O as early as that day or as late as 48 hours after.

2. You have O'd and you are experiencing a slow rise, a perfectly normal thermal shift pattern.

It's difficult to say for certain because you haven't logged CM since CD 14, so I can't tell if you had EWCM just that day and then went completely dry since then or what. There's also no CP showing the progression of your cervix, which would help determine if and when you have O'd.

I'm sorry I'm not able to give you a more concrete guess. Hopefully your temps over the next few days will be undeniable!

I just have always had the temp drop just as I was Oing and then a noticeable rise right away. Very obvious to see on my charts so it was always so easy to see what was going on.

I guess this time, it is just looking different. I can't help but wonder if my hormone levels and stuff are different which has cause me to have a different looking chart. I know no two charts would ever be the same, but you'd think they'd stay somewhat similar, especially since I am very regular.

I guess only time will tell.

Coley,
I don't always record CM cause I'm not sure if it is SF or CM once we start BDing a lot. So, to error on the side of caution, I don't mark it unless I am sure. Maybe I should start doing the notes section of FF so I am more info.

Thanks for the input!

Okay, I looked at some charts on FF, and I see that MOST people do not have a dip before or during O, so I guess that would make sense. I just had it the other times I charted so was expecting it!

Now, I'll be on the lookout for the RISE in temp!

I've had charts with an dip on O day and charts without. I never take it as confirmation that I O'd until my temp rises, though. Good luck! Hope you get a nice temp spike tomorrow!!!

You can always use the Cup of Water trick.

Place a drop of "fluid" into the cup of water. If it sinks, it's CM... if it dissolves, it's... his. LOL!

Would you believe this....

Yesterday, my dog ate my thermometer AGAIN (SECOND TIME!!!)!!!! So, the most important day to get my temp, and it is in pieces. DH is a sweetie and went out and bought me another one, same exact one, even though I know you are not supposed to switch out in the middle of a cycle. AHHHH!!!

So, then to add insult to injury, this morning with my new thermometer didn't take correctly. It was half there, half gone, and since it only flashes for a brief second, I couldn't read it! So, I took it again after I was already up so I know it wasn't accurate! yikes, this months charting isn't working out!
