Alright...I haven't gotten my OPK's yet (should be here tomorrow or Tues hopefully...), so I can't test to see what the heck is going on.

AF left on CD 5...on CD 6 I had a little bit of dry/sticky/pasty CM....and yesterday, CD 7, I was completely dry. Well, I just went to the restroom, and when I wiped, there was this GLOB of creamy/wet/stretchy CM on the TP....not quite EWCM, but it was somewhat translucent and it did stretch a bit. Doesn't this come a few days *before* you should ovulate??? DH and I have not BD'd since before AF was here, so I know it's not leftovers

I'm really confused right now in terms of deciphering my CM and what type I should be getting and when...I tried to read up online, but if what I read is correct, then that means I could be gearing up to O in the next week?? My cycles are about 35 days...it seems kinda early to me

Thoughts?

While it does seem a bit soon, you can O as early as CD 6, I believe.

I'd BD just to be on the safe side!!

Really Nikki?? CD 6?! WOW! I wasn't aware of that...I figured because of my long cycles I'd be more likely to O late, rather than early.

..I'll BD just for the heck of it...and hopefully tomorrow my OPK's will be here so I can test one out.

Thanks, girl!

I agree with Nikki about BD'ing just in case! It's also possible that your body is gearing up for O soon. A lot of women will get patches of EWCM or close to EWCM before they actually O. So that's why it's best to BD anytime you have it, because you never know!

And yep, you can O that early. It's not likely that it'll happen very often at all, but occasionally our bodies get a little out of whack and the hormones start working overtime. Good luck to you! Sending O and Baby your way!!

Most definitely.

And it's even possible that this is nothing but a patch of EWCM that can show up at any point in any cycle and mean absolutely nothing!! Isn't it great to be a woman?!?!

But best to BD just to be sure!!

Ohhh how I just looooooove our womanly body functions

I was thinking now that perhaps my body was going to "fake out" again...make me think I'm gonna O now, but not really till waaaay later (which I'm assuming is what happened last cycle).

Here's a question though....is there something that explains what could cause an early O? Or it is just another magically unexplained wonder of being a woman? I started taking Pre-Natal's about 2 weeks ago....could that possibly explain the CM?
