UPDATE:

Ok, so here I was a mean 5 hours or so ago doubted whether or not I was gearing up to O. The lines on my OPK were so light or not at all there. I thought OMG I don't O anymore. Well on a whim I took another one at about 6pm and voila---super dark positive. I called my husband and said I got a positve, he said well I'll be home late tonight you are going to have to get a sub...LOL. I explained to him that I would O within in 36 or so hours. I am guessing my temp will rise tomorrow. We have been BDing like crazy. I told my dh to wake me when he gets home!!! It was quite a funny conversation. Here is a pic of all the OPKs I have taken since CD8. I am stoked!!!

I want to insert the picture of the OPK but I don't know how???

Help!!!

Hi everyone. Can you guys check out my chart. I feel like I am on the way to O, but I am having no luck with the OPKs. I am barely getting any line at all and I have been testing since CD8. I think it might have something to do with diluted urine, but not sure. I try to drink a lot of water during the day. I test around 1pm, but my urine is never really dark. The instructions said not to use FMU.

2bfd7d Ovulation Charts

Is it possible to O without a positive on the OPK? Do they NOT work for some women? My cervix is high, soft and open right now and my Cm is very watery. I am just waiting for my temps to increase. This is my first complete month of temping.

I guess I just have to wait to see if my temp goes up, right? I have no reason to believe that I don't ovulate but it's hard not to obsess.

Thanks.

Christy

I dont use OPKs but I know of women who got -s all the way along and did O and even some got pregnant. I think that you can sometimes miss the LH surge. I agree though I imagine you are gearing up to O very soon.

I'm Nikki!

I think your chart is looking quite good actually. As Kelly said, is is possible that your temps are declining in preparation of O. You're also experiencing fertile CM and your CP sounds like it's at peak fertility as well.

I have been using OPKs for quite some time now and I have months where I never get a proper positive, but I still O. Like this month! One look at my chart, and I think it's pretty clear that I have O'd, but I never got a super dark + OPK.

If you have tests to spare, you can certainly keep testing until you get your temp shift and see if you ever do get a full blown +.

Unfortunately you have to have your picture on a photo hosting site like photobucket or something. You can't place pictures directly into a post here.

But I agree with Nikki that your chart looks like you are getting ready to O. And you are correct that OPK's don't always work or work with some women. So as long as you've got all the other signs, then keep up with the BD marathon!! Good luck and baby to you!

Yay for the positive OPK. I know it feels so nice to
1)see that you have a nice dark line and knowing that you are NOT broken and are in fact an egg making machine
2)see two lines on a stick for once!!

SO YAY for you! Have fun catching that eggy!

Thanks for the good vibes you guys. I literally went from a super faint line to dark, dark, dark. So how long will I continue to have a positve. Does this mean I will O in 12-36 hours or so? I was really doubting my ability to O and now that I have a postive on the OPK I am so much happier!!!

It is nice to see 2 lines on a test!! Now I have to wait 2 or 3 days to see cross hairs on FF right?
