Not understanding...

Hey ladies....I am Sarah and I am new to the charting world! I started temping on January 15th in the middle of my third screwy cycle. Bit of background: Came off BCP Sept 09...first cycle was 50 days long, second cycle was 38 days long. I am pretty sure I O'd my second cycle as I had really positive OPKs. Started third cycle Dec 6th and used OPKs in the middle. I stopped with them because I was getting darker and then the line went away again so I figured I missed it.

WRONGO! So I kept waiting and waiting for AF...no show. Took a PG test, BFN. Now I am almost at CD 60 and have NO CLUE what is going on!

SOOO...my question is...can some of you take a look at my chart and tell me what you think? Fertility Friend has marked me as 13 DPO....when I put in my temp this morning this happened. How accurate can this be?

Hi Sarah,To be honest I don't know why FF picked CD 45 as your O day.. you didn't seem to have a very noticable temp shift then.. but look at your temp today!! I would have thought you Od yesterday based on your temp rise today. Unfortunately I think we'll have to wait and see what the next few days bring. I'll stalk your chart!

Hey Sarah! Coming off of BCP sucks because it takes a while for your cycle to level out, but it will hopefully get there soon. It's REALLY hard to tell because you don't have many temps on FF before those dotted crosshairs, but I am curious too about that temp jump.

The reason that FF gave you the dotted crosshairs when they did is because generally the temps after that are higher than prior to that, but they are dotted because it's being based solely off of your temps.

If you can, try to record as much info as possible, especially your CM info. That REALLY helps in determining your O. I really think though, that if your temp is still up tomorrow, that FF will move your O date to CD57.

Your temp today is still really high... I agree with Michelle that if you have one more day of high temps like that, FF will move the CH to CD57.

Hmmm....I was thinking my temp was only up because I am sick right now. I woke up really sweaty....

I guess we will see tomorrow! Thanks for the info though

Ahh, ok, if you are running a fever you can mark that on FF. It will give you a solid blue circle that the lines won't follow to. If that's because of a fever, then honestly it doesn't look like you've O'd yet.

Just hang in there. Irregularity is really normal while transitioning off the hormones in the BCP, average recovery is anywhere from 6-18 months. Keep tracking and be sure to BD whenever you notice feeling very wet or slippery - that's the simplest approach.

How do I do that?

Where you put your temp info in, scroll down and you can check whatever symptoms you are having. One of them is for fever. Just click the box and the rest takes care of itself.

well....maybe it wasn't a fever because my temps are still up?

Oh and I went back to the doctor today and got some bloodwork drawn

And DH is getting a semen analysis on Wednesday....moving in the right direction

Sarah, Have you taken an HPT yet? If FF is right about your O date then you'd be 17DPO and would likely show a positive if you were pregnant.

Ok so now FF looks right! My temps are still way up so it changed my O date which I think looks much better. Only it sucks because I was sick AND got back into town late that night so there is NO chance of being PG this cycle

Oh well at least if AF comes in 6-7 days or so then I know I did O!!! That is always a good thing! Now I just wait for the blood tests to come back
