My DH and I met over 3.5 years go through Match.com. He was the first one that I "winked" at on my first day of being a member! I never talked to or met anyone else. We met about 2 weeks after we first started e-mailing. I knew he was the one! I like to tease him and tell him that I paid $49.99 (or whatever the price was for a 3 month subscription), for 1 day on Match. Defiantly worth it!

We met at Homedays for the city I had just moved to. I was 13, he was 14 and it was the summer before we started High School back in 1994. We were always close friends through school, but never dated until 2006.

We met through a mobile phone dating agency, i dont think it exsists anymore, but you left an answer phone message about yourself and then you went through listening to peoples messages when you found someone you liked you could leave a meesage for them requesting their mobile number. It was before camera phones were not out so we didnt know what eachother looked like. Luckily we fancied eachother. That was 8 years ago. I dont really know what happened but we split up and stayed good friends and i had my youngest child in that time. We got back together after 4 years. Then 3 and a half years later we got married.

Online on MySpace. In our defense we met in person the same day.

Long story short, Myspace - 2005.

I commented on a picture of his cat (that looked exactly like mine), and we began exchanging emails about our pets Pretty much evolved from there....only thing, I was in California, he was up here in Canada. After a gazillion hours spent talking on the phone, webcams, emails, etc. his family invited me to come up here to meet them/ stay in their home for 2 weeks. So, 5 months after our pet conversation, I flew up here, we met face to face, and he and I have been together ever since

4 year long distance relationship I might add....we got married on our 3 year anniversary, and it took me a year before I got my visa to move here as a permanent resident....best thing I've ever done in my life...he is my soulmate
