Hello Ladies,

This was my first month charting, I am 7 days DPO and I have two quick questions:

1. What is an implantation dip, and when would you typically see that happen if it did happen?

2. Are you suppose to take your temp during AF's visit? Or start back up when she's gone?

I am hoping that I won't see AF, but I just have this feeling she is coming! You'd think she'd be tired of visiting,

For your second question some do and some do. I tend to just to stay in the habit. It gives you more days of temps to have FF base your coverline on too.

I just started temping too. I am doing it during AF so I can have a complete idea of how my temps range. It's neat to see. Good luck!

Glad Carrie provided the link because the best I could tell you is that implantation GENERALLY occurs between 6 & 10 dpo, but it can happen sooner or later than than. I don't know for sure, but implantation dips are generally a pretty big dip. However, LOTS and LOTS of women never get a dip and are pregnant and LOTS and LOTS of women do get dips and aren't pregnant...it's just a theory and nothing to put any stock into.

As far as temping during AF that's totally up to you, but think it's a good idea at first so you can see how the pattern works. I personally no longer temp during AF because I temp vaginally and that's just not right in my opinion. LOL
