So I havn't had to replace my batteries yet, but I was wondering.. If your thermometer's batteries are going bad could it give you a wrong temp read?

Yes, I'm sure that would effect your temps. I doubt that it all the sudden won't work, it is probably a gradual decline before it finally dies.

Also, the consecutive 97.5 doesn't seem right either. Is that the default setting on your thermometer? Try taking out the battery and putting it back in again.

It's not actually a basal thermometer. I am going to try to get one this weekend.. I havn't had money to buy one since DH was out of work and I just used the new digital thermometer and so I know that is one reason for the consecutive temps.,

This thread made me realise that that's maybe what's going on with my thermometer! I've had 97.2 four days in a row! That's never happened before.

Do you use a regular digital thermometer too? Mine has yet to confirm an O day.. I had O pains on valentines day and the 16th so I don't know.. My temp never went up over 98 like it normally does so I am confused and lost.. I am going to try to pic up a new basal thermometer tonight if DH lets me..

I use a basal thermometer. I just looked at your temps and they seem weird. Are you cycles regular? this new cycle definitely doesn't say you ovulated.

Hi I just lurk here but wanted to let you know that I saw BBT at Target the other day for less than $15. That is a pretty decent price.
