Hi ya all,

I have just resently joined and wondered if you could all help me.... this is my second month TTC, Via AI, private friend donor/co-parent. I am 26 years old, i love kids, it took me about 2 years to finally find the right person for the job lol so to speak. He is great, wonderful, kind, funny, intellegent... :-) and he already has a daughter... so i know hes a good daddy.

Last month ( first month trying ) i only got one AI unfortunately as my donor had a friend in need. I had symptoms galour i thought nah couldnt be etc etc but everything pointed to yes, how ever dreeded AF came and i though oh well, next month, day after because id been reading so much about TTC tips and tricks, i thought why not try BBT charting... so on CD 2 i started.... now i havent been sleepin very well ... on and off, last night CD 14 i didnt have a solid sleep at all, but this chart and my other one says i ovulated on CD 8??? i didnt have CM mucus, was quiet dry, my Cervix was low... just odd... anyways, i got EWCM the other day and my Cervix has desided to move up, YAY its soft as much as i can tell...

I have a 30 day cycle give or take a day here or there some months but it is one of the most predictable things out there lol So i wonder becos i had that REALLY huge dip, ( i did take into consideration that it was a very cool night and i did wake up with no blankets on ) ... and the jump, its strange cos although my body is saying " PREPARING FOR OVULATION " now.... this CD 8 thing is just weird and messing with me is all. Im only on CD 14 today so i could have another dip and rise ( cross fingers and pray ) in the next day or two... My donor is if he can make it coming tomorrow CD 15 ... so we would have BD CD 13 and CD 15 ...

It's possible that you haven't O'd yet and when you have a more significant temp jump FF may change your CHs to a new day. I can't seem to figure out how to search for you by your FF screen name. You'll have to post here a few more times, then link it.

There you go, i added it, i dont know how but i did. :-) it could be possible, i hope it is true that i havent O'd yet as i didnt do AI until CD 13 and if i O'd on CD 8 there would be no chance this month would be viable.

I just dont get it ... i could have another temp drop and rise in the next day or so, lets pray i do as my cervix has lifted and my mucus is prime... i hope FF has it wrong.... i really do...

Are you using a BBT? Your chart looks like mine the cycle that I was using a regular thermometer. It was up down, up down, etc. I know that it's possible for the chart to look like that with BBT, but mine looks a lot more "normal" now that I'm using an actual BBT. Just a thought.

Yeah, and ovulating on day 8 seems really crazy, but after reading some of the things on JM I realize that the female body is capable of doing almost anything and will surprise you a lot

Thanks for your reply, yes i am using a normal digital thermomenter, it has the .0 temp thing, i wasnt really that serious about the charting thing, i more so check my cervix positions and mucus to be honest. However in saying that i was also curious if i could see when i do ovulate, my CD 8 cervix and CM did not say ovulation AT ALL.... i was dry and my cervix was low and closed.... its gone up now and its soft and open... i was just wondering if anybody could ease my mind... really!!! please ease my mind!!!!

Last month i was googling symptoms this month its BBT charting obsesion lol not really but yeah.

It could be due to alot of things my temp changes but its stablized a bit now so lets see if i get another dip and rise.... in the next few days! If not i will be stumped!!! and very sad ....

Also i just remembered, i have a NORMAL temp of 36.6 and my thermomenter picks it up every time.... no matter what thermomenter i use i alwasy get 36.6 day time temp... just my BB temps are weird, i also havent been sleeping properly... so could be another thing lol

Hi again, well i have had some weird what i believe to be ovulation symptoms this month, last night i went to the loo ( altho i did an AI yesterday ) i just patted rather than wiped and i felt my CM pulling/stretching and then i checked the loo paper and sure enough i could stretch it so far. ( sorry TMI i know ) anyways, since i drank a cup of green tea each day for the first half of my cycle could be due to that. I am now taking folic acid as i have read that green tea altho its good for you it can stop the folic acid being taken into the blood. So rather risk anything i am taking a natural folic acid tab starting today ( potental O day ).

Also had for the past 4 days ( which i never have before Ovulating or AF ) sore breasts. Today i have been tired... i sleep last night, which is good as i havent been sleeping well lately. And i have craved sugar ( chocolate or 2 sugars in my coffee rather than 1 1/2 ) Has any of you ladies experienced this due to Ovulation or is it just one of those once in a blue moon things that happen ( sore boobs and really stretchy and lots of CM ) for 4 days prior to Ovulation?

Also heres my chart if anyone would like to have a look see... its nearly 9pm friday night here, so prob go an relax and watch some dvds and head to bed so i can take my temp in the morning to see if it did dip or rise. CD 16 today and hoping i do dip or rise tomorrow morning as i did a huge dip and rise on CD 8 which was so weird cos i have a typical 30/31 day cycle.

Judging by your chart you o'd on the 17th of this month. CD 14. according to your chart you bd the day before and the day after. you had EW CD 14, 15 and 16. your temps are still up above "o day" I personallly.. think you have a highly good chance on concieving. Good luck! Let me know what happens!

Hi! Sorry I'm late getting to this one...

Personally, I do not think ovulation has taken place yet. Your chart does not show a true "spike" or a sustained shift.

Your CM and CP all look very good and it does appear to me that your body is indeed gearing up for O, but I'm not convinced it's actually happened yet. Hopefully that will allow you to get a few more "goes" in there.

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately due to AI and time etc we were only able to do AI on CD 13 and 15 ... becos of my strong belief i did O on CD 16 ot 17 it seemed ok. Although i havent dipped or spiked yet, im unsure about bbt charting, i do trust cm an cervix positions and they said i believe CD 16 or 17 becos i always get EWCM for a few days, maybe more and then it goes to just creamy or watery until AF arrives.

I will continue to take my temps but if i dont dip or rise im not overly concerned as my other bodily stuff said or says i do O. Im just curious if anyone elses charts are similar or if people have had the symptoms ive had during or prior to Ovulation.
