Here is my chart: 15871f Ovulation Charts

I originally thought I Oed on CD 18, but now I am thinking I might have Oed on CD 26, based on temps and cm (I was pretty wet CD 24 and very wet CD 26, but it wasn't really as stretchy as it was around CD 18.)

Going off of thinking I Oed on CD 18, I thought the dip at 6 dpo was implantation (plus I had mild cramping and very sore nipples). But, I took a test today (9dpo) that was negative and my temps haven't gone up as significantly as I thought they would if that was implantation. I thought 3 days post implantation would be enough for a positive test, maybe I'm wrong on that, though.

Since cramping and sore nipples could be related to ovulation, as well, I am wondering if I just ovulated or if this is what an anovulatory cycle is like.

Any thoughts?

p.s. This is my second cycle after a m/c at 5 weeks in Dec. (no d&c) and I am breastfeeding. So maybe one or both of these are causing this.

I would disregard the dip on CD 18. When trying to decipher any chart, you always have to throw out the lowest and highest values in order to get a general pattern of temperatures. It could have been implantation (though I have never had an implantation dip with any of my pregnancies) but the test you are using is not sensitive enough to pick up the hcg in your urine yet. 9DPO is still VERY early. Even FRER can only claim a 50% success rate at 10DPO, let alone 9. Generally speaking, Ovulation will not look like a dip on a standard chart. Your temperatures in the days before O will typically be the same as they were the day you O. Then, after ovulation, you will see a spike of .4 degrees that remains high until your next period (unless pregnancy is achieved). Based on what I am seeing, your temps for the whole month seem sort of whacky. I think you may be skipping O this month, or you have not Oed yet. You could try using OPK tests next cycle. This will end the guesswork for you. Just start using them soon after your period and end when you get a +. This, used along with charting, can give you a much better idea of when you are releasing that eggie. Good luck to you!

I would have to agree. Your chart doesn't seem to be displaying a sustained thermal shift, which indicates no O. At least not yet, that is.

I have no experience to speak of, but I have heard from others that both m/c and breastfeeding can play havoc with your chart/cycle.

Best of Luck to you... I hope you get some clarity in the next handful of days.

Thanks! Before I had my son I felt like I had such a good handle on charting and these pp breastfeeding cycles have been unusual.

I think I will try OPKs next month.

Temps have been up for the last few days and FF says I Oed on CD 26. So now the wait begins again...

Thanks for your help!
