Hmmm...that is really strange. CD 12 #1 looks like it's on it's way to positive, but then..yeah. Frustrating!
Question...how do you get a good pic of an OPK? I've been trying and failing.

That is weird! CD12 is deceiving! Makes you think your close then you get those four crappy ones to follow! I hope they get darker very soon!

Nikki, I'm thinking you should try a different brand of OPK. I'm wondering if these are somehow being affected by the Clomid and that's why they aren't working as well. I don't know a whole lot about OPK's and if this is even possible, but it's worth a shot.

To get a good pic of an OPK, put your digital camera on the flower setting. They all seem to have that setting and that always seems to be the one that takes the best pics.

Ash... I've got this feeling that they're not going to. I'm half expecting my temp to shoot up tomorrow. My left ovary has been feeling especially stabby today and I've also noticed that "damp in the undies" feeling.

Michelle... I think you're on to something insofaras the Clomid is concerned. I think it's screwing with my tests. This might be a bit of a long explanation... but if you'll go with me for a minute, I think you'll see where I'm coming from.

I've never had any trouble getting a positive on ICs before. Midstreams... sometimes, but my temp always shifts so I know I O'd, ya know? So the last time I got a proper + OPK was my first month on the Clomid. As I'm sure I mentioned, I don't think the Clomid did very much that month other than make me O late. I still had a 12 day LP.

This past cycle, I was out of ICs... so DH bought me some Target brand midstreams. I never got a + last cycle. I happened to have started using my Saliva-Scope just on a whim and I'm glad I did, because I got to see that I was ferning like crazy! On CD 12, it looked like it was starting on it's way to go + and then it faded away, just like it's doing now. But I think the Clomid started working because I O'd from the right, 15 day LP, blah blah blah. Ya dig?

So... I don't think a change in test brand is going to change things, since I'm on a different brand this month already, kwim? I think it's just a Clomid thing. All other signs point to O coming soon... I'm just gonna have to roll with it.

I added tonight's OPK to the line up. Seems even fainter than this afternoon.

Good thing they're cheap!!

Nikki. It is the Clomid doing this. The same thing happened to me. JM has an article on this. Clomid and Ovulation Tests
