I am so confused about my chart. This is my first full month of charting though I have had other atemps at charting. FF gave me the red marks and said I oed on cd 18 which seemed lated in my cycle. Then when I put Fri temp in it said that it was reasessing my o date and they took it away. Then I put in todays temp and it came back. I am so confused.

I had a Dr's appt and he said by looking at my chart that he does not think I oed. I have a cyst that is about 3 cm big and he thinks that it may be causing my not to ovulate but he isnt real sure. Could be something else.

Can someone look at my chart and tell me what you think? Could I of oed?

Thank you.

It's hard to say but it does look like you O'd on the day that FF says. I O on CD 18, if it makes you feel any better lol. Hopefully a few more days of temping will be able to give you come answers? I'm still pretty new to temping myself, so I'm not a pro but I HTH. Good luck!

HI Brandi.
I looked at your chart and I'm no expert but I think your dr was probably right
The reason I say that is because the higher temps after CD18 are all open so it's hard to rely on them, and your temps today and yesterday were both below the coverline.. I am confused as to why FF gave you back the CHs with such a low temp today.
Anyway I hope I'm wrong and you caught the eggie!

Hi

I'm afraid I have to agree. I do not believe you have O'd as of yet. Temps in the low 97's... let alone the 96's are not Post O temps. I recognize that you've got a lot of open circles, which leads me to believe you were temping earlier than usual. However, those temps are still really low even for Sleep Deprived nights.

FF is allowing you to keep your CH's probably based on the fact that so many of your low temps are open circles. It seems to be giving you the benefit of the doubt that if you had temped at your normal time, they might've been higher.

A 3 cm cyst sounds kinda big to me. I would be surprised if a cyst of that size didn't interfere with O. I will say, it does appear as if your body might've been trying to gear up to O a couple of times. You've got more than one patch of fertile CM.

My best advice would be to continue temping and BD'ing until you see a sustained thermal shift. You keep putting your temps in and eventually FF will get on the right page.

Best of Luck & Baby

This cycle has been to me. I normally dont have ewcm that much. It could of been dh's left overs and I just couldnt tell the difference but not sure.

My Dr suggest I go on birth control pills to get rid of the cyst and to make everything start working better. I just hate to waste 3 mths. He said I should go on them for 3mths. If I am not oing though I guess I am wasting time anyhow though right? My Dr said a 3cm cyst wasnt really anything to worry about because it was small but at the same time he said it could be causing me not to o. Ugggghh

I feel like I am stuck right now. I have no idea which way to go.

Just wanted to say one more thing. I do have hypothyrodism and have heard it causes your temps to be low. So could this be affecting my chart?

I have certainly heard that it can, indeed, affect your temps.

Sounds like you've got a whole bunch on your plate right now. Unfortunately, I don't have any first hand experience about charting with Hypothyroidism.

I would hate to see you go on BCP for 3 months and then have to spend however much time it's going to take to get it back OUT of your system, so that you can TTC. There are so many docs that wanna prescribe BCP for cysts, when all that really does is mask the problem.

You really should check out the PCOS board. My PCOS is pretty mild, but there are girls that have been dealing with more intense stuff and they may be able to give you some suggestions, other than BCP, to discuss with your doctor.
