Wow, so I was just informed here at the board that FMU should not be used for OPKs so I decided to test again. The results are much darker with 10:30am....should I test again tonight? I think I may o here pretty soon. I'm also having some slight right ovary twinges.

Here are my results at CD11:

FMU, 5:20am

10:30am

You could test again tonight, if you've got extra tests. Generally the best hours are between 10am-8pm.

Generally, when I am OPK'ing I'll test at 11:00am and then again at 6:00pm. That way if I'm going to surge in the evening, I'll catch it.

Best of Luck & Baby

Interesting. I am using CBE digital OPKs and the instructions say to use FMU. Do you think I shouldn't?

I just found that out a few days ago too!! I was a little surprised, but then I read that the LH is made most at night and with the consentration it can lead to false +s...? From what I've been reading they've been 2nd morning urine.

lulu, I'm not sure about the digitals. If it's asking for FMU, maybe the sensitivity is higher? Anyone?

Just lurking.

I have always used digi's and found them to be much more accurate later in the day. My surge may not be picked up with FMU with a digi, but it does get picked up later in the morning, around 11am or so.

What do your directions say? I have used OPKs that said FMU is the most accurate. Maybe it depends on the brand?
