My temp went down today from yesterday's really high temp (I'm waiting to O, I think). Well, I was wondering if I should throw out my temp from yesterday since the night before we went out and I had quite a bit to drink (ahh, love those margaritas!).
Honestly I would discard the temp. Alcohol seems to effect BBT alot. Most girls probably wouldnt, but i would meh.

And, on the topic of CM. I have trouble knowing whether to put creamy, or egg white, or what? I typically have a lot of CM all the time (except maybe right after AF). But what is the difference between creamy and egg white? By the way, today I have had clear CM, I hope that's a good sign?
Egg white looks alot like egg whites. It is clearish and stretchy. I tell by rubbing my fingers together and separating them. If the CM stretches with my fingers, i mark Egg white.
This will come easier soon, i promise

Do OPKs change from darker to lighter to darker to lighter for anyone else? How much should I analyze the "color" if it is not as dark or darker than the control?

And finally, I am taking an OPK around 10am and one around 6pm. Do you think those are good times? I am using CBE OPKs with 2 blue lines. Are digitals better?
Im answering these 2 together since they are related:
The test line is supposed to be darker than the control line to make it a positive and alot of girls do find that the OPKs go darker, lighter, lighter, darker, etc. If you are having trouble, i would suggest the digitals, since you arent timing your BDing and just trying to schedule an IUI it would be more accurate for you to use the digis.

i do mine around those times too, and i always stick to the same time of day so there is no denying it

If you look at my chart, does it look like I could possibly get a positive OPK today or tomorrow? I am timing an IUI, so no bd'ing for us to get knocked up =( Should I just wait for the OPK to turn positive?
How long before the appointment do you have to schedule?? quite honestly i would chart for 2 cycles and then schedule for the 3rd cycle. That way you have a decent time frame to decide how your cycles are working. This is all going to depend on how long your cycles are, when you usually O, etc, etc. 2 cycles would give you most of the information you need.
