I almost didn't answer my cell because it said "Number Withheld" and I normally don't answer those. But something made me pick up. Lo and Behold... it was Doc Smith.

She wanted to check and see how I was feeling today, how long the cramping lasted, etc. I told her about the "gush" and the "fluid" on the pantyliner. She said that the "dye" can leak... so that's probably what it was.

So the basic rundown is that my left tube looks perfect, my uterus looks perfect... it's my right tube that's not so hot. I asked if that means I've only got 1/2 the chance since I've got 1/2 the functioning tubes, kwim?

She said definitely not. She said my chances are better than 50% because my right ovary still works just fine and that my left tube can always pick up that egg.

YAY! That makes me feel soooooooooooooooo much better!!!

Plus, I've been reading TONS of stories about women who had an HSG, found out they had a blocked tube and loads of them got pregnant... a good number of them, RIGHT AWAY!

I've been thinking I might likely O from my right this time because it was my left last time. After learning about the right tube yesterday, I felt pretty despondent that if I did O from the right, the cycle would be a bust because of that tube not emptying.

So needless to say, I feel much more optimistic now.
