Last month I had a Luteal phase of 13 days. Today AF came at only 8 DPO which means I had a 7 day Luteal phase

Anyone have any idea what to do about this ?

Hmmm..so strange that it varies so much from month to month. Are you still BFing?
I finally had a 12 day LP last month (up from 11) after taking 100 mg of not just B6 but a B complex with all of the B-vitamins (I read somewhere to do that. We'll see if it keeps working.
It sounds like something that might need medical attention from your doctor though...but I remember you saying he wouldn't see you for awhile. You could also try progesterone cream.

Yeah, I was just looking at your chart and saw that you are already taking a B-complex. I do know that BFing can cause short luteal phases and irregular cycles (I'm sure that you already knew that ). My cycles are still not back to normal and I haven't breastfed in 4 1/2 months (unless this IS my new normal )

Ok this is a long shot but peppermint tea has an effect on the body to produce the progesterone. You could try it and see if it makes a difference. I also take vitamin b6 too.

I had problems with a short luteal phase when I was breastfeeding too. But, your last chart looked really good so maybe it was just a fluke month. I don't know. How often is your little guy nursing? Lyndsey was still nursing like every two hours even when she was two years old. I finally cut her down to nursing just three to four times a day and that really helped my cycles.

Since I haven't had any babies yet, I have nothing constructive to add...

Just wanted to drop off

David nurses before I leave for work and then when I get home he nurses about 4 times from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am.

Should I cut him down some more ?

This may be a silly question, but is it full-out AF? The only reason I ask is the cycle I got pg with DD, I thought that AF had started (I think around 7dpo). I used a tampon and everything. It ended up not really being bad and just moved to spotting for 3 days. Well, a few days later I tested and I got my BFP. I guess just something to consider. However, I would think that BFing would make a difference. too. I didn't even get AF back until a few months after I quit BFing, so I don't have any experience with it affecting my LP (just that they were short when I first quit).
