Well this is just the day of
WONDERFUL news!!
So, DH and I decide to take Cinder for a walk to the park since it was still like 65 degrees out when he got home. As we're walking he starts telling me that his boss had her little girl via IVF. Apparently, it took her and her husband 2 1/2 years of trying to get her.
She said they did an IUI every month for a year!!

When that didn't work, they took 3 months off, did an IVF and got it on the first shot. She had a "womb issue" as Danny put it. HA HA! I imagine that to mean an actual uterine problem, as opposed to a tube problem, ya know?
This is so great, right? Because she's totally sensitive to the whole infertility thing. This is why she's always been so understanding and sensitive to appts and devastating AF appearances making DH late for work.
He's not done though. He starts telling me about her RE... who is located right in the city we live in!! She said he was SUPER aggressive about treatment. For example... she was only on Clomid for 1 month before he said "Nope. Not working" and took the next step. YAY for not wasting time, right?
Okay... the best part? She had her IVF done while working where they work now... and our insurance covers
EVERYTHING except the actual IVF, which she said cost them about $1200!!!

All the meds, all the consultations, the ultrasounds, the monitoring... all of that was covered!!!
I... just... can't believe it. I have already pinched myself!!

Hopefully we don't have to go down the IVF road, but it's so wonderful to know that we
CAN!
I told him if we don't get it this month, I'd like to think about seeing her RE. I said "Heck, if I go see him and he sees my file, he might be like "Right, 4 rounds of Clomid and nothing... IUI now." DH said "That's what I'm hoping for!"
So... I thought that was wonderful news and just
HAD to share!!
