Does anyone have trouble charting there cm. I have trouble trying to figure out what to put down. I know I have not had ewcm yet but have had something. Just wondering if anyone else had trouble with this. I am never really sure if its sticky,creamy or watery. LOL Sometimes it could be all of those in one day. LOL

Oh and when we bd I am never sure if the cm is me or dh. It normally masks my own cm.

I don't have any trouble charting my CM... but then again, I'm not at all squeamish. I check my CM internally, not on a tissue, because I can't "feel" what it's like... and that's what's most important... not how it looks.

If it feels slippery, that's on the EWCM end of things... If it's thick but smooth when you pull your fingers apart, then it's creamy. If it's thick but leaves little peaks when you pull your fingers apart, then it's sticky. If it's very thin, but not slippery... then it's watery.

If you are having multiple types of CM in a day, you want to mark your MOST FERTILE CM of the day on your chart.

As for telling the difference between CM and semen... Place a drop of the "fluid" into a glass of water. If it dissolves, it's semen. If it forms a ball and sinks to the bottom, it's CM.

I don't get a lot of cm anymore so when I do I pretty much consider all of it fertile. When I was younger I had a lot more cm. I go by what I see on the tp and do not check internally. I think this just takes practice. If you aren't sure I would go more by how you feel. If you feel slippery you are probably fertile. You don't have to have everything exactly right.

- patty. When I was younger I had a lot more CM. I'm mostly dry, but still do get creamy and ewcm (if I go looking for it).

I mostly rely on my thermal shift to tell me if I had indeed Oed or not. But sometimes like my last cycle, I get a slow rise and have to really pay attention to CM too.

I would do that too if FF offered a Semen Obscured option. Every time they send me that survey asking how they can make FF better, I always give them that suggestion.
