We lost Puff to kidney failure...




He hadn't been feeling so hot starting on Sunday... he was throwing up, but we saw some hair, so we figured it was a hairball.

Yesterday afternoon he took a turn for the worse. He was drooling and when he went to walk, he had no control over his body... he crashed into walls and everything.

I rushed him to the animal hospital and after they did blood work, we discovered that he was in full kidney failure. The doc said he was suffering terribly... so we took some time to say Goodbye and had to let him go.

Once again, as I pray for life... God hands me death.

When we adopted him and his brother from the Humane Society 6 months ago, they told us they were 5 years old.

The vet we saw last night said there's no way... That he was closer to the 7-10 yr old range.

I'm so sorry. I lost my childhood cat (I was 18 at the time, he was 14 years old) to kidney failure.

I loved all my kitties so much. It is so heart breaking. my 15 year old got a tumor that pressed on his lung. I put him down in 2005.
