I usually hang out on the newlyweds board, and this my first month charting and the temps ate accurate (well as accurate as can get I suppose) but I haven't really been able to use OPKs. Does anyone have any insight?

It doesn't look like you've O'd yet, hopefully you are gearing up though since you've had some EWCM. Good luck!!!!

I'm confused. It says you haven't been using OPKs but they are all marked on your chart? If you have been using OPKs and the charted results are accurate, I'd say you haven't O'd yet and won't in the next 48 hours. If you haven't been using them then given the EWCM, it is possible you are O'ing today.

Your OPKs do show up as being negative on your chart. In your original post you said you hadn't used OPKs which is why I think the PP was confused.

I don't think you've O'd yet either, but you definitely appear to be gearing up for it! I think the next few temps will be really telling. Good luck! I hope you stick around!

Sorry - my earlier post is confusing. I meant that you wrote in your post that you haven't really been able to use OPKs but that they were clearly marked on your chart.

Nope it's totally my fault! I was typing on my iPod. I hadn't been able to use them the last two days. The day before I just couldn't hold it long enough and then yesterday I wasn't home enough. Sorry, that's my fault!!!

I would say based on the OPKs and temps that you haven't O'd yet...but you may O very soon since you had some EWCM. It really helps to be in tune with your body...do you check CP? I always try to keep track of what my cervix is doing because I think it helps FF out a lot in determining O date.

I can always just tell when I am going to O because the side I O on is always kinda sore...especially after I have O'd...and intercourse becomes a bit painful afterward for me too. I'm sure you'll get to know what to look for!

GL and I hope you O very soon!!

I haven't been checking CP, but I could feel it during BD last night. My temp went up a little yesterday but held steady today. I dunno...I'm confused.

My cycles vary. Somewhere between 25 and 30. What does it mean thaty temps were the same two days in a row after being so low?

My chart is weird. I know you have to have three days of elevated temperatures for crosshairs to appear. However, I've been looking at ladies charts and sometimes they don't have three days of elevated temps and they have crosshairs. I even looked at a lady's chart whose temps were sort of low like mine and they stayed the same three days in a row around 97.3 (mine have been 97.2 for two days) and she got a BFP and crosshairs. I've run a couple of different scenarios on my chart and only one of them resulted in crosshairs. My temps are accurate. I don't think the OPKs are though. I have some cramping tonight that I think might be O pain because I noticed it last month. If I wake up with sore nips, then I'll know I have O'd for sure, but why wouldn't my chart reflect that? Maybe I'm just reading too much into it...

Some women have their chart set to OPK which means that as soon as a positive OPK is recorded instead of 3 higher temps.... their chart will throw the cross hairs out there. I personally use the advanced or FAM settings which require the 3 higher temps.
Alot of women also have temps the same for a few days. It doesnt really mean anything in particular.
