They did another u/s first and I've got an 18mm follie on my right ovary. The PA said it looks like my right one is doing all the work. BOOOO!!! That's the blocked tube side.

PC test results were not so hot... which we kinda expected. My CM is between creamy & watery right now... but it's too thick for DH's swimmers. They found a few swimming around in there, but not many. She said it's not a big deal, they can do insemination to bypass all that.

Sooo... they're gonna call me today once they get my b/w results and let me know what's next. It's sounding like IUI is in our future, which we're both totally fine with. We don't care how we get pregnant... we just want to get pregnant.

The numbers I saw from yesterday's b/w were:

E2: 173
LH: 6.8

I can't remember what my exact P4 (progesterone) number was, but it was really low... which makes sense, because I haven't O'd yet.

So we wait for the call now...

I wonder why they would go straight to looking at insemination without trying to improve your CM first? That would be simpler and less invasive. Interesting.

Shawna - I'm not quite sure... They know I have a blocked tube, I'm 35 and running out of time... so those are quite possibly factors in his decision making. I was told when I was given this Dr's name that he's quite aggressive with treatment... which was music to my ears!


*** NEW UPDATE ***

Just spoke to one of the nurses... She said my PC test was timed perfectly & that my b/w shows no O yet. Duh!! Once again... I already knew that... but it's actually really nice getting to see my cycle in such detail.

So... I go back on Friday at 8:45 for more b/w and another u/s. Friday is CD 15 and could be O day... That'd be super cool!!

IUI isn't bad at all. We did it to have DS and it was a HUGE relief to have the pressure taken off of us. I did Clomid (low does because I O just fine), hCG trigger shot and then the IUI followed by progesterone supplements (I have progesterone issues). Worked on the second try. Good luck!!!

I'm not sure yet. I'm kinda starting to doubt they're going to do it this cycle because if they are only doing b/w and an u/s on Friday and I still haven't O'd... If I O over the weekend, I'm screwed, because they're closed on weekends as far as I know.

When we did the PC test we went all natural... normally, we use pre-seed. To tell you the truth, I'd love to have another PC test done after BD'ing with preseed to see how much of a difference it makes, ya know?

So, we're gonna keep BD'ing until we're told otherwise.

I'm so happy you are getting some answers and making some progress. You're just that much closer to that MUCH deserved If you have to do IUI do have a baby, so be it............anythinng is worth it! So excited for you!
