Newbie question

Hi all, I'm new to TTC and charting, so sorry if this is a dumb question.

I'm currently on CD 16 and my temps aren't budging. For CD 8 - 12, I was at 97.9, then I dipped to 97.45. On CD 14 I was back up to 97.9 (also had a positive OPK that day as well as EWCM), and I've stayed at 97.9 for the past 2 days. Is that considered a rise?? Or should I expect it to go higher in the next few days? It's kind of annoying since I've never done this before and didn't expect my temp to be the same pretty much every day.

I wouldn't call that a rise if you were at that for several days before...technically you need to go up at least .2 degrees higher than your previous 5 (or maybe 6, I can't remember) temps and stay up for it to be a confirmation of ovulation.
Do you have Fertility Friend account? You can plug your temps in there and it will help detect your ovulation.

I am having the same problem...I thought I Oed on Tuesday according to temps and signs (cm, cervix, ect)...My temp was 97.7 on Monday - dropped to 9.27 on Tuesday - spiked up to 97.7 Wednesday and I expected it to still be up this morning but it dropped again to 97.27. I also am having horrible bb pain (which has been normal at O time for the last three years) the last two days - BAD - and some cramping...very very mild....and my cervix and CM today are both very fertile according to FF and O still hasn't been detected. I was looking at the anovulatory charts and they look eradic like mine and I am am wondering if I might not O this cycle bc I just got off the pill...finished my last pack (active pills) three weeks ago. I got pg with DD first cycle I got off the first time.

Confused!!!

Hmmm...it doesn't sound like you've O'd yet. Could you post a link to your chart for us to take a look at?

Thanks ladies! I can't post my chart because I don't have a high enough post count on here yet....Anyways, today I was at 98.04.

I do have a FF account but it says ovulation has not been detected yet, although for the last three days it gave me the "green light" for Most Fertile because of my positive OPK. This is my first month using FF, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I can post my temps if that will help at all....
