I am sooo frustrated. I had positive OPKs Thursday and Friday...darker one on Friday with some discomfort all day...Saturday morning, my temp had rose from 97.5 to 97.97...I was sooo happy. It was actually the second temp rise but my first one only increased by .2. So anyway, I expected my temp to be up, but no, it wasn't. It was 97.27. WTH is that???

I was up til almost 3 last night (our best friends are in twon for DDs Bday) and we stayed up drinking and playing board games and Wii. LOL Then ofcourse DD comes rollin in around 5:30 this morning - fussy of course cause she didn't get a nap yesterday and didn't get to bed til 9:30! Anyway, I took my temp at 5:45. Not a whole lot of sleep, drinking, and possible mouth being open from this awful nose thing I have going on...could they cause my temp to be THAAAT low?? Or am I just getting screwed this cycle and everything sucks? I am soooo mad and grumpy right now. I am on CD 25 for crying out loud!!!

Anybody read my chart and tell me anything??

If you think your temps might be disturbed (taking it different times, after drinking, not enough sleep first, etc) - you can also tell whether ovulation has occurred or not with the CM pattern. If the CM develops and changes over a matter of days, becomes slippery, then dries up drastically - Peak is the last day of slippery mucus. Peak is the day closest to ovulation. If the CM doesn't do all of those things, it means your body may have tried to ovulate, but wasn't successful.

Had the peak CM Thursday - EWCM in masses - postive OPK...no temp rise Friday, took another OPK, darker positive...temp spike Saturday...CM is def drier but I just can't tell. We have DTD alot so I am just confused on whether it is CM or arousal fluid I am feeling (tmi)....guess we'll see.

Peak is not necessarily the day with the most EWCM, it's the last day you notice a slippery feeling. The maximum amount of CM can disappear, but the wet/slippery feeling continue a day or two after.

Arousal fluid usually dissipates within a short time, so if you notice a slippery feeling at another time during the day when you're not feeling aroused - it's likely CM.

You do have a few 'disrupted' temps on your chart, and should probably label today's that way too.

Give it a few days and see what happens.

I agree with the others that your temp is probably off from the lack of sleep, drinking, etc. I'd probably mark today's temp as sleep deprived if you didn't get 3 uninterrupted hours of sleep (to get the open circle). It'll be interesting to see what the next few days of temps are!

Agreed. Looking forward to bed time and good nights rest. Laying with dd right now while ds is in the shower. We had a fun filled looong and late night yesterday and we all took long afternoon naps...so I'm hoping the two of them will go to bed ok.

I'm still having crampy sensations...dull almost like I'm might start...I had it with my other two and I feel like with dd the cramping never went away which was my first pg indicator...maybe the same will happen here.
