Hi Girls!

I'm at cycle 1 TTC baby 3... I don't have any expectations for this cycle since its my first one off of birthcontrol. I was taking Ortho Evra, the patch. Anyways.. I only started taking my temperature a week ago or something but it just seems a little all over the place to me! I just don't know and since I'm soo new to it I thought I ask some more experienced people like you guys! I'm at cycle day 21 and haven't got a positive OPK yet soo I dunno!

Does this seem right to you? I know there isn't much to look at.

It's really hard to make sense of BBT temps when you start this late into your cycle and you're new to charting. You also said you just got off BC, so that could be affecting your temps as well. There's no way to predict how long your cycle will be now, or when has/will occur...but I would keep temping consistently and look for other fertility signs. My guess is that you may not have ovulated yet if you've been getting EWCM but neg. OPKs.

KUP!

Bear in mind that the Ortho Evra patch contains 60% more estrogen than regular combination pills, so it's a big transition for all those synthetic hormones to leave your system so your natural hormones can take over and do their job. It's not unusual for ovulation to be delayed following the patch.

Welcome to the board! I'm Lisa (28) and my dh and I are ttc #2.

The other girls gave some great advice. I also wanted to give you this link regarding birth control and beginning to chart: Fertility After Oral Contraceptives

Best of luck!
