for charting to be accurate after going off the pill. I'm thinking of going off the pill so I can learn to chart properly for a while before we TTC (November, December). I would like to know how long I should be off of it before I can see signs of ovulation.

This is my first cycle off BCP and it looked pretty eradic at first but eventually settled itself. I Oed this cycle also. Just got it confirmed for CD 22 today! Shew!

We were wttc til July but I think we probably caught an eggie this month. We'll see!

Charting is accurate immediately. Your CM can tell you every day whether you are potentially fertile or not, even if you are coming off the Pill. Ovulation may occur quite soon, or it may be awhile. But charting can tell you when your body is attempting it.
